Dogs who are looking for new homes

Maisie's ideal new home would be with a retired person, looking for a soul mate

Meet Maisie.  She is currently looking for a new home as her owner has sadly passed away.  Here is what her dog walker, Heather has to say about her:

Sadly one of my clients passed away this week and her son is unable to take care of Maisie, she is a Border Collie mix. Her ideal new owner would be somebody looking for a sweet old soul to be their companion doggie.  She’s used to being with someone 24/7 so ideally I think a retired person would suit Maisie.

Around 13 years old, she's a very calm sweet girl but still likes to play a little, enjoys her walks and copes very well with younger dogs and also good with children. She boarded with me a few months ago and happily walked for an hour at a time. The owner asked me to keep her on lead as she didn’t have a reliable recall. She sometimes pulls a tiny bit at the start of a walk but then just trots alongside nicely.

She had a booster shot at the start of this year and she had flea and worming treatment when I had her in April, whether this has been re-done or not I don’t know unfortunately. She has a heart murmur but the owner didn’t seem to think this was affecting her in any way. She has been spayed. She doesn’t have any behavioural problems that I’m aware of (she stayed with me for 9 days).

If you think you can offer Maisie a good home, please email Sophie

 DOGS SUCCESSFULLY RE-HOMED BY DOGAEROBICS

 Bouncer

Our re-homing page will be dedicated, to one or two local dogs in need of re-homing.  Therefore, hopefully helping local charities re-home dogs as best and as quickly as possible. So watch this space!

Bouncer was re-homed May 2008 and is enjoying his new life in Middlesex!  We have received pictures of him acting like a clown in his new home and we are thrilled that he has found such a loving family!  A big thank you to the Animal Welfare Society in Hounslow for helping us re-home Bouncer!

Poppy a young Border Collie

Poppy and 11 month old spayed Border Collie bitch.  She was re-homed in March 2009

A very bright and beautiful girl - ideally an experienced border collie owner who will involve her with dog training - obedience work, agility, flyball, etc.
